Percy, Annabeth and Grover started training for their "big" quest. Not a lot of people at half blood camp went on quest so they felt important. Their big quest was to find Zeus’s master lightning bolt.
It had been stolen since the summer solstice.
The first person they think of is Haden.
Percy thinks that Haden stole the Bolt because he wants Zeus and Poseidon to fight so he can gain more power.
It was a crazy idea but they wanted to go to the underworld to look for the bolt.
No one had come back alive from the underworld before except for Hercules.
They have no idea how to get to the underworld.
They receive an advice from the camps elder.
He tells them that the entrance to underworld is in
California.
They head west to
California.
The only part I don’t like about this chapter is that underworld is suppose to be in California. California is the happiest place. What I like about this section is that Percy is now discovering his true powers and he is learning to use them to his advantage. Now Percy is starting to fight demons and killing monsters
This book is really cool first of all because I like greek mythology I don't know about you. I think they made California the underworld because it is really hot don't you think. Are you going to read the second book?
